Financial Shape in 2008

I’ve decided to take Money-Saving-Mom’s Financial Challenge for 2008 and will be reading her posts related to this and posting the progress Eric and I are making with this in the future.

I don’t feel comfortable posting our budget on my blog, but I am going to be posting throughout the year how God is helping us tackle debt and savings goals and the envelope system.

    We love the envelope system. It has been great for us and our budget - when the out to eat money is gone from the envlope, we stay home; when the money is gone from the envelope - it’s gone and we make due until next payday.
