What’s on your screen?

April 8th, 2008

Tonight after doing some work I was sitting and staring at my desktop. A few months ago I made a screenshot of some of my Flickr Favorites (some copyrighted, some not) and plastered them up with a happy shade of yellow surrounding them. Honestly every time I look at these, they flood my soul with many thoughts and questions. I love the richness of colors and the emotion that the various facial expressions bring to me. I chose these particular photos because they remind me that there is a vast and grand world out there beyond mine that is governed by the great finger of God. Truly every person was made in the image of God, and how beautiful He is! Some of them also remind me of how different my life is and how petty my complaints are in the face of such realities.

I love staring and wondering what the lives of these people are like as well as the photographers who captured their essence.

Just check out some of these and see why I love them so much!
The most adorable couple
I just wonder what she was thinking…
I could go here and just stay!
The beautiful glory of age
In a basket
What an imprint of joy!

What about you?
What’s on your desktop and what makes it special to you?
